August 350 Blocks Project

 

I again didn't have a very productive month, a lot of activities going on.l

I did get 16 blocks done for this elephant baby quilt.

Three Peter Rabbit Blocks

Two mug rugs.

I didn't get that many blocks done this month, just 10 more of the Storm at Sea blocks for my brother's quilt.

This month, I didn't do too well block wise, I had a lot going on, having company 2 days, getting ready for the guild community service to be moved to my garage.  

I did complete 18 of the Storm at Sea blocks for my brother's lighthouse quilt.

May 350 Blocks Report

 

I didn't do so well this month.  I spent a lot of my time cleaning out my garage so the guild Community Service stash can be moved over to my garage next month.  I was spending 4 hours a day for two weeks out there clearing stuff out, so not much sewing was getting done.  

What I did get done was:

1 Storm at Sea block for my brother's lighthouse quilt.

Goose Tracks:  14 blocks.   These are going in a small quilt I am making for my grandson Jaeger's girlfriend Cali.  She will be graduating from high school this Saturday.  

So my total for May is 15 blocks. 

I will be reporting my totals at Prairie Moon Quilts.

350 Blocks Project- April and May

 

I didn't report April blocks, as I was taking care of my husband during his last month of life.  But I did do 10 Star Kissed blocks.

For May I have:

Star Kissed Blocks:  24 blocks:  

Baby Quilt:  7 blocks:  I counted each row as a block

Jaeger's Graduation Quilt:  I added 4 more blocks to the bottom of the Pieces From the Past Quilt:  

So my total for April is 10 and May is 35 blocks.

350 Blocks Report, March

 

I did a little better in March.  The goal was 31 blocks.  

Pieces of the Past:   5 blocks.  I  assembled the top of this one.  I need to make another row of blocks and put on the outside borders.  This will be grandson Jaeger's graduation quilt.  

Stay at Home Round Robin:  8 blocks.  

Hands All Around Alcotts:  4 blocks.  I decided to make a block of each size, 8" and 12"

Salt and Sand Blog Hop Project:  10 blocks.  I called the whole quilt 10 blocks.

Klara's Doll quilt.  I called this 6 blocks

So I have a total of 33 blocks for March.  I will be linking up at Prairie Moon Quilts.  

350 Blocks Project-February Results

 

The goal for February was 28 blocks and I just made it!  

Ella Maria Duncan:  5 blocks.  

Stay at Home Round Robin:  8 blocks.  I counted the first 4 borders as 1 block, and then 4 log cabin blocks.  

Pieces from the Past:  1 block.

 Hands All Around Alcotts:  1 block

Christmas Mystery:  1 block

Wonky Stars:  5

Stripes:  8 blocks

Stitchery:  2 blocks

Patriotic Delivery:  1 block.  This is my project for tomorrow's Dust Off a Quilt Book Blog Hop so I can't show a picture yet.  It is one large block.

My total for the month is 32 blocks.  I will be reporting the results to the 350 Blocks Project @ Prairie Moon Quilts.  

January 350 Blocks Report

 

The goal for January was 31 blocks, but I was nowhere near that total.  Here's how I did.

Ella Maria Deacon blocks:  3

Crazy Quilt Pillow:  I counted this as 1 block

Kristen's Pillow Cover:  I counted this as 1 block

Stitchery from the One Stitch Club by Kathy Schmitz:  1 block.  

Stay at Home Round Robin.   1 counted 2 rounds as 2 blocks, the piano border and the plus sign border

Christmas Mystery BOM:  1 block

Pieces From the Past Sew Along:  1 block

December 350 Blocks Report

I didn't do so great for the month of December in block numbers, with trying to get Christmas presents finished.
