I'M BACK, SORT OF

We got back from our 15-day Hawaiian cruise on Sunday which was just wonderful. I had checked my e-mail on the ship and kept up with that pretty much.

Went to turn on my computer (where I spend 8-12 hours a day for my job, medical transcription), and found that I could not get it to work. Monday I spent all day loading up programs, enough to get it configured so I can do transcription again at least.

I still have other programs to load, such as my Adobe Photo Shop Elements, my scanner software and what I need to download pictures from my cameras. Everything has been a challenge, such as I no longer have my word expansion program which I use for transcription and had to order another copy that works with Vista. My copy of Word Perfect will not work with Vista system, so I had to get another copy.

I need to get my Christmas tree, and village up . John has everything up, just waiting for me to arrange things, after I finish my work day.

To top it all off, I started to get a cold before I left on vacation, but somehow aborted it with a combination of Zicam and other things. I came back home and it has picked back up, not to be stopped at this time with gunk in my chest and sinuses.

Will be back soon with pics of vacation

I'm so sorry your cold has conquered. I know how miserable that is, but glad it didn't spoil the cruise.

Hope everything is back up and running soon!

  3. I am so sorry. Computers can be a wonderful thing but when they go bad, they are very, very bad!
