TAST-2012, Week , Buttonhole Stitch



Week 2 of Sharon B's Take a Stitch Tuesday was the Buttonhole Stitch.  I use this a lot in quilting, and I love making buttonhole flowers and leaves.  The variegated thread I used didn't show up too good, but I didn't want to start over.

    The variegated thread gives it a different look than solids would, and I like it - happy feeling. That's a different kind of flower, too.
