Hand Quilt Along, Slow Sunday Stitching

It's time again to see what I have been doing in the hand stitching department.  I have been doing a lot of hand stitching the past 3 weeks, most of which I can't share until Monday 11/11, the start of the Stitch it and Gift it Blog Hop.

I did finish this Redwork Christmas piece.  I also completed assembling it, which I will share on Monday.  This was from Robin Kingsley's  book Just Be Claus.

I'm working right now on the Nativity scene.     I just put in a Google search for free nativity coloring page.

I also made 2 more of Jenny of Elefantz's Merry Heart Sewing Bags for gifts for friends.  I love these bags, I still need to make one for myself.

Next up I need to prepare my Buhl-Bushong border for this month, and get going on Sweet Land of Liberty.

Be sure and check out the others participating in the Hand Quilt Along below.  Welcome Bella, Daisy and Connie to our group!

You have indeed been busy with the embroidery, and it is beautiful! I love the redwork patterns you have chosen; I will have to take a look at some coloring pages...what a great way to get a simple design! The Jenny Elefantz bag is going to be lovely, another wonderful gift idea. Thanks for pointing us to those great ideas!

Your projects are wonderful. I missed the post on the sewing bag. That would be a great addition to the gift closet. I especially love your nativity stitchery.
