FALL INTO A QAL FLIMSY FINISHED, 2018 FINISH-ALONG GOAL FINISHED

Yesterday, I was able to put together my Fall Into A QAL blocks.  I designed the center section myself.   I am quite happy how it came out.   The blocks were designed by a group of designers, Partners in Design and every 2 weeks we received a new block.  I love all of them, and appreciate the effort the partners put into making these.    I will be linking this up with Vanda @Quilting with Vanda.  

Getting this quilt to a flimsy stage was also one of my goals for this quarter in the 2018 Finish-A-Long, and I will be linking this up in January at the end of the quarter.

Fall Into a QAL, 2018 Finish-A-Long

Block 12, the last block of the Fall Into a QAL came out this week, designed by Vanda Chittenden @Quilting with Vanda,  It is the cutest little owl.  Thanks so much Vanda for your design.  This is my little owl:

I am now in the process of setting my Fall Into a QAL blocks.  I am linking this up with Quilting with Vanda.

Also this week I finished item #2 on my 2018 Finish-A-Long list, to get my Crow's Foot Quilt, designed by Cheri Payne, to flimsy stage.

I plan to probably hand-quilt this the first the year.  I have too many Christmas items I want to finish first.

Fall Into a QAL-Just in time

Got my Fall Into a QAL block done just in time this time.  With all the birthday gifts I have been busy making, was getting down to the wire in making my block this time. 

The block this time was designed by Bobbi Bridgeman@ Snowy Days Quilting.  Thanks so much Bobbi for a great block.  I love pumpkins!

Fall Into a QAL. Block 6

The new block came out this week for the Fall Into A QAL.  This one was designed by Sherry@

Powered by Quilting.  I love this block, and fun to make. I made a cherry pie.  When I showed it to my husband though, he stated I needed to make another one, because "what would fall be without an apple pie!"

Fall Into A QAL, Block 5-Blogger Issues Again

Finally finished block #5 in the Fall Into a QAL.  I am really liking it, and all the blocks together.  The designer this time was Kathleen McCormick at Kathleen McMusing.

I'm having Blogger issues again, and this time the fix is not working.  I answered about 2/3 of the comments yesterday, but they are not coming through again, and I tried the fix that worked last time that Carol of Just Let Me Quilt posted in June.

Fall Into a QAL, Block 4

Block 4 of the Fall Into a QAL this week is a Sunflower block designed by Sandy Maxfield of Sandy Star Designs and is available for download.  

After finishing my Boho bag this morning, I wanted to get this block done.  One of my favorite flowers are sunflowers.

FALL INTO A QAL, BLOCK 3

The third block for the Fall Into A QAL was released today, designed by Sherry Shish at Powered by Quilting.  The pattern can be found here for the bonfire block.  I'm procrastinating on working on crazy quilted my Boho purse, so I got right on this block!

I decided to do a night time sky for mine.
