It has been another busy couple of weeks with back to back activities.
Something weird has been happening on Blogger. Everyone who comments is coming up anonymous, even people who are not ordinarily anonymous. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?
Last weekend I went with some guild friends to a sister guild's show. They had some beautiful quilts.
Last week daughter Katie, granddaughter Klara and I went to see a high school production of Les Miserables which was an excellent production.
I've been busy working on my Gnome For Thanksgiving project, and spent the week embroidering a bunch of motifs on my embroidery machine.
I got more done on granddaughter Kyleigh's poncho. I need 56 inches, and I am at 24 inches. I will be working on this for Slow Sunday Stitching.
Saturday was bittersweet for me. It would have been my 49th anniversary.
My girls, son-in-laws and two of my grandchildren took me to dinner at a favorite Mexican restaurant.
I will be linking up at Kathy's Quilts for Slow Sunday Stitching.
Thanks for stopping by!
I'm having the same Blogger problems too, Karrin. I have no idea how to fix it. Gorgeous quilts at the Quilt Guild and how fun to see a high school production of Les Miserables. Keep going with the poncho...your half way there. Saturday would've been bittersweet. I hope your okay. Sending you a hug.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am having that problem too. I wish I knew how to fix it. Thanks for sharing the beautiful quilts!
ReplyDeleteBlogger seems to quit cooperating randomly here too. Lovely knitting project. Glad you celebrated your anniversary in a special way. Beautiful quilts at the show. Gail at the cozy quilter
ReplyDeleteI've seen lots of bloggers talking about that issue with the comments, Karrin, although I haven't had it yet. I'm not sure how to fix it, though. You saw some beautiful quilts at the show! I hope you have wonderful memories of John to give you comfort - I am sure he is smiling down on you today. Enjoy your stitching!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very nice quilt show! Nice work on the poncho.
ReplyDeleteVisiting a quilt show is always exciting, full of colour and new ideas. Yes, it must be sad when the special dates roll around. But I'm sure you treasure those wonderful memories.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you could spend your anniversary with your family, bittersweet indeed! Wishing you much success on that knitting project; I am working on a pair of socks for the new SIL, and they are taking forever!
ReplyDeleteI had the problem, too for a couple weeks. On the second week, I decided to manually hunt up (from older comments over the months now residing in my computer’s trash bin) their email addresses. I copied them to NOTES on my IPad. Then I answered the emails using “forward” instead of “reply” and pasting in their address. After that, the comments from those commenters have been coming in with their email addys. New commenters seem to come in as No-Reply. If I don’t have their email address and can’t reply, it doesn’t work. I don’t know if my process helped solve the problem, or if the timing just coincided with me being let out of No-Reply Purgatory. But it can’t hurt! Catkiz (at) xmission (dot) com.
