Good Fortune, Part 1; Virtual Cookie Exchange

Bonnie Hunter's new mystery quilt, Good Fortune started the day after Thanksgiving here.   I have looked forward to this, as I have never done a mystery quilt, and Bonnie's always are so beautiful.  So I have part of my four-patches done, and will continue working on them throughout the week.

I decided to use mostly my Civil War reproductions, as I have quite a bit, and haven't used them recently.  I am about 1/3 through.

I'll be linking up with Bonnie's Mystery Monday Link-Up. and Monday Making

Also Carol at Just Let Me Quilt is hostessing the Virtual Cookie Exchange that starts Tuesday, November 27th.  The line-up is below.  I will be participating on Wednesday.

  1. Lovely cw fabrics! I'm also using them in remnant pieces from my scrap system.

  2. I'm so glad I'm not the only one using up CW remnants. You're further along than I am, but I'll keep chugging along. This is my first Mystery, too, and I'm excited to see the finished project. Happy Sewing!
