Today is the start of the Stay at Home Round Robin. Gail @Quilting Gail is again hosting the Stay at Home Round Robin. Many thanks to Gail and all her work in the organization of this fun event.
This is the third year I have participated. This was the quilt I made last year.
This was the year before.
This will be my center block this time. It was an orphan block from a BOM that Melva @Melva Loves Scraps did several years ago called Pieces of the Past. I messed up the block as it was written, and had to make another. This is the reject. I forget what the block was called.
These are the co-hosts and schedule for the rounds,
- January 23: 1st Round: Roseanne & Sue @ Home Sewn by Us Centre block: Roseanne & Sue
- January 30 : 2nd Round: Wendy @ Pieceful Thoughts of My Quilting Life Center block: Wendy
- February 6: 3rd Round: Chris @ Chrisknitssews Centre block: Chris
- February 13: 4th Round: Anja @ Anja Quilts
- February 20: 5th Round: Emily @ The Darling Dogwood
- February 27: 6th Round: ME!!! @ Quilting Gail
- March 13: Parade – showing all of your finished SAHRRs!
I'll be linking up @Quilting Gail.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hi Karrin - how are you? Like your center block - it should be easy to build off of. I am also doing this one for the first time and looking forward to it. Hope you are well!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your prior SAHRR and am looking forward to this years. I love the colors in your block...it will be fun to see how it turns out.
ReplyDeleteLove the reject :) it looks great to me
ReplyDeleteYour previous SAHRR's are really pretty, Karrin! This year's center block looks like it will work great, too. It will be fun to see your new quilt develop!
ReplyDeleteHi Karrin! This year's center block is a real departure from the last two year's choices. I remember making that same block twice but cannot recall the name either. Thank you so much for joining us again this year! The third time's the charm - I'm not sure how that fits but somehow I just had to say it. HAHA! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteThat Valentine Quilt on your header is lovely! So cheerful! Your previous year’s Round Robin Quilts are so pretty, especially your center medallions! Your center block for this year is sure to be a winner! Happy Stitching!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that center! Good luck with your rounds!
ReplyDeleteYour first one was very dramatic! It will be fun to watch this one grow.
ReplyDeleteLove your centre block!!! I can't wait to see how it progresses! And I'm so glad you're joining us for SAHRR!!!
