My One Monthly Goal for March, as stated on this post was to make a project for the Salt and Sand Blog Hop, which happened last week. My day was here. I hadn't started anything yet. In fact my first thought was to make a collage mermaid, but I am still gathering supplies.
My plan B was to cut a bunch of 30's fabrics showing little children at the beach with my Accuquilt tumbler die, I also used some of the nautical applique dies I have.
This is the finished quilt. I also quilted some little waves on the top and bottom.
I will be linking up to Elm Street Quilts for One Monthly Goal. Many thanks to Patty for her continued motivation, it really helps me keep on track. I had gotten the quilt top made for the blog hop but it wasn't quilted. All of a sudden on Sunday I reread my blog post about what my goal was for this month, and I said I was going to have a project done, not top, so I hurriedly got this on the frame to finish it up so I would meet my One Month Goal.
Such a fun pretty tumbler block, Karrin. Wonderful job on meeting your goal. Have a blessed week
