SLOW SUNDAY STITCHING

Slow Sunday Stitching

Right now on my handwork, I am working on Cheri Payne's Angel Quilt.  My backgrounds are red, green and gold.   These are going to be a Christmas gift for my oldest daughter.  I have appliqued 6 angels right now. Only 12 more to go.   Love the feel of these flannels!  They make applique so easy and soft.

I'll be linking up to Slow Sunday Stitching at Kathy's Quilts.

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. These are sooo lovely! I haven't used flannel for applique before. I think it would be soft to handle, but haven't ever thought of it before. Enjoy angel making!

  5. Wonderful Angels! When I looked at them at first, I thought they were faces with two eyes and a really big nose - very folkart, and I might try that one of these days. =)
