Time to check in again for Slow Sunday Stitching over at Kathy's Quilts. This weekend, I'm hand stitching my Buhl-Bushong blocks. I have three blocks cut out, crowns made, and all ready to stitch. I was able to get 2 done tonight after getting home from granddaughter Klara's BD celebration.
I've got more cut out and ready to go on the sofa for Slow Sunday Stitching.
Head on over to Kathy's Quilts and see what everyone else is doing for Slow Sunday Stitching.
We had a nice BD celebration of granddaughter Klara's 6th birthday at a local ice cream parlor. Her birthday isn't actually until the 29th, but we celebrated early.
She loved her mermaid bag, with the doll inside, plus a necklace.
Four out of five of my grandchildren. I don't know what I will do if Jaeger gets any taller!
Thanks so much for visiting, and hope you have some good Slow Sunday Stitching time!
Oh what a pretty block and such beautiful Grands!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely grandchildren! I'm sure Klara was very pleased with her presents you made her. Happy Stitching!
ReplyDeleteSo glad she loved the mermaid bag. She's adorable!
ReplyDeleteThe bag and the goodies inside were obviously a great hit! Looks like all those grands are going to overtake you!
ReplyDeletelooks like you are having fun!
ReplyDeleteThat’s a lot of hand stitching. All those points. Mermaid bag came out great and your cute granddaughter looks tickled pink with it.
ReplyDeleteLots of lovely hand stitching there, Karrin. Your Buhl-Bushong blocks are looking great. How sweet is the photo of Klara holding her beautiful mermaid bag. Oh my goodness your Jaeger is tall. Gorgeous photo of you all.
ReplyDeleteI did not work on any of the Buhl quilt curvy blocks this month but have plans to forge ahead in November.
