It's time to link up One Monthly Goal at Elm Street Quilts. I didn't get the past two months' goals done, which were actually the same thing, to finish a quilt to give to my sister for Christmas.
So this month, I have moved on to something else. My grown daughters frequently come to my house, and see something new I have made, and want the exact same thing. Sometimes I feel like I am a showroom that they place their orders! That is fine, I am happy to make them what they want.
My oldest daughter Kristen came over after the Hello Fall Blog Hop, which I posted about here and wanted this pillow cover too.
This was something I designed myself. It actually fits a bed sized pillow. I got all my leftover fabric to make her one for Christmas but it never got done. Her birthday is actually January 21st, so I told her I would make it for her birthday instead.
So my One Monthly Goal for January is to make the same pillow cover for my daughter's birthday. I am sure to achieve this one!
