I actually got caught up this week on the Stay at Home Round Robin. Last week I had a problem putting rounds 3&4 which were actually in my same round together. I had mis-measured some things.
I got that straightened out and was able to sew the borders on those rounds.
I didn't notice until I got this far that I have one set of geese (the top section) going the wrong way but I left it. This will be something I give to our guild for community service, and I don't think anybody but a quilter would know.
I really wanted to turn this into a rectangular quilt instead of square so I am trying to work that in. So this round I didn't add anything other than the sashing to the sides. The prompt this week was from Emily @The Darling Dogwood to make square in a squares.
I'll be linking up @The Darling Dogwood.
This is the full schedule for the rounds. Monday we will get the final prompt from Gail @Quilting Gail.

- January 30 : 2nd Round: Wendy @ Pieceful Thoughts of My Quilting Life

Congrats on getting caught up with the SAHRR prompts!! Your growing quilt it looking great! I'm looking forward to seeing what Gail will throw at us tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLove this! I think your geese look fine, and I agree no one will know you meant to have them going the other way. The square in a square blocks on top and bottom look great, gives it a nice framing and gets you to the rectangle you were looking for!
