Hand-Pieced QAL

I've been having so much fun with the Hand-Pieced QAL hosted by Patty at Elm Street Quilts and Kristin at Simple, Handmade, Everyday.

The block for week 4 went together for me effortlessly, it was close to perfect, until I discovered it was over 1/4" larger than the others.  I must have cut the squares out wrong.  So I trimmed it down, till there was almost no seam allowance left.

So I ended up remaking the block. At least this one is the same size as the others!

I'll be linking up with the Hand-Pieced QAL link up on Patty's site at Elm Street Quilts.

Thanks for stopping by!  Karrin

  1. Your block looks great! Pretty colors, too. None of mine have been too big, but my 4th one is finally exactly 6.5 inches!
