It's time for goal-setting on One Monthly Goal at Elm Street Quilts. I continue to appreciate this monthly motivation and appreciation everything that Patty does!
For February, my one monthly goal is to finish my couch project that I talked about here. My lounge section I sit on to stitch at night has a patched area I have been covering up with a quilt. The problem with it is that when I scoot off the couch it comes untucked. I plan to make a quilt then sew it up one side like a slip cover.
I have some old swap blocks I plan to incorporate into this quilt.
For my one monthly goal, I need to make 24 more blocks, set them, quilt it and finish my slipcover project.
This is the area I need to cover and the quilt I am currently using. I'm going to use this shaded half-square triangles as the setting. The alternate blocks will be the swap blocks from long ago.

ReplyDeleteI agree with the previous comment. "You can do it!" That is why we set these goals...we cheer each other on.
ReplyDeleteI love the quilt you're using on your couch now, Karrin. And I love the blocks you're working on. They'll look wonderful on your couch! Best wishes for a finish in February;.
